House rules and general conditions (outline)



Welcome in Casa Canamarela in Portimao

We are very pleased to welcome you at our house in Portimao. We are confident that the house and its settings will provide you with all the things you could possibly wish for to make the most of your stay. Please read the following information.

Please do respect the house rules and don't disturb the neighbours


You may smoke outside as long and wherever you want but please don't smoke inside the house. Please do respect the neighbourhood, particularly during the evening, night and early in the morning.

Reservations and rental period


A deposit is required for reservations via phone and/or e-mail. Reservations are valid once the deposit of 30% has been transferred into owner's account. The balance payment and the security deposit should also be paid via bank transfer up to 6 weeks before arrival.
We can accept arrivals and departures on any day if the reservation is made for at least 7 consecutive nights.
Please keep our manager informed about your time of arrival so our representative can welcome you personally and hand over the keys.

We will provide you with all the necessary details once your booking has been registered after the deposit, the balance and the security deposit have been paid. The day of departure you should leave the property in a tidy state before 10 am, to allow us to do all the necessary preparations for the arrival of the next guests. In case you should want to leave earlier than planned, there won't be any pro-rated restitution of funds.

Pets


We love pets, but unfortunately they are not allowed in this place.

Security deposit

Before your arrival you should also have transferred a security deposit of € 300 into owner's account. The full amount will be refunded within a week after your departure if no damages or breakages have occurred. The security deposit covers possible damages which might occur during your stay. In case you fail to transfer the necessary funds, you will have no access to the house.


Theft and accidents

The owner cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft nor injuries/accidents which occurred at the premises during your stay.
If you leave the house, please make sure that the windows are closed and the doors are locked (including the garage door).


Security


The house is equipped with security equipment like a fire extinguisher which you can use in case of an emergency.
Please follow all the safety instructions left in the house.

Complaints


In case of arising problems for which both parties are unable to find a satisfactory solution, which is highly improbable, guests are
also offered the possibility to file a complaint on line directly with the ASAE at: www
